So many great deer calibers out there, .270,25-06 are definitely hard to beat. A 7mm would probably be my choice if I had to pick a single all-around round. That 7 prc looks interesting as well.
Seems I always reach for my STW, it holds zero well and nothing likes getting hit by it.
Took it out the other evening, it's sill got it!😊
First shot cold bore, haven't shot it since I killed my buck last fall.

A good 7mm is hard to beat, yet I play with various calibers when I get the time anymore. I don't think I would trade a 7RM or STW for a PRC myself but if someone was looking to get a 7mm I would say a PRC or RM. I just haven't found a need for 175gr 7mm bullet for my hunting when I can use a little more speed in 140-168gr to offset the BC difference.
The 7BBC has not quite interested me enough from a reloading standpoint because there is no die's available yet and Federal uses a powder not available to public, various reports of accuracy issues and ammo mostly is available from Federal at this point which isn't horrible but your gun might not like the loading that you want.

7BBC? Are you watching porn again?
...rofl...
Until I am proven wrong I am referring to it as Broke Backcountry. They promised to have a reload procedures and dies shortly well that has not happened and from what they are saying I doubt they will have much anytime soon considering by the sounds of it they are getting no more than 8 reloads before cracking with the average being 3-4 reloads. I get it that you don't worry about tire prices when you buy a sports car but just not appealing to me to purchase, if I win one sure I will take it. How many of the cartridges that Federal has "developed" are mainstream or popular anymore. I'm not against Federal by any means as I buy various products and I realize that very few people actually reload but if you promise something and then go radio silent then it makes me wonder about things

22,223, 243, 308,300, 375….done

Anything more it’s just bragging rights.
Did you ever get Barnes LRX's to work? I never got the .264 127gr to work in my 6.5-284 Norma but this past year got a good load for my 7mm RM with 145gr LRX.
Hammer bullets have some interesting options out that I keep thinking about trying

Soo….what about what I shoot which is a 30-378? #notrackingrequired 🤣
A 270 will kill a Deer just has fast. You shoot them behind the shoulder that Deer does not know the difference with a .277 or .308. I will take the 270 any day of the week.

I have a 300 Lazzeroni Warbird so I have a big 30 caliber, plus a 300 Wby and 300 Winchester and a 300 Blackout.
