I know some of that last name. I moved from there in '89 in 5th grade but went to Sykeston School up till then. Still got some relatives in the area and get back there a few times a year to hunt and fish.Do you know Billy Neumiller? ( I think that's the spelling)
what if'n I get the trots? will you own up to that?Keep in mind that this is the time of year that soaking rains brings shaggy mane mushrooms. My favorite.

p.s. If you screw up this easy-to-identify shroom and end up puking sick, don't blame me. ; )
p.p.s. Red wine is a known sick-trigger for some people - even with normally safe mushrooms.
Shut your whore mouth about snowWe got maybe a quarter inch down here. Need some snow up north worst migration i have seen in years
i was talking like canada but 194 north would be okShut your whore mouth about snow

And still most the sloughs are all bone dry here only water is the big deep ones that are also way down. I want the snow for pushing birds down from the north. It doesnt have to snow here till February and then it can dump till AprilTruth be told, the good times cannot continue forever. For wetlands to be most productive they must cycle between high water years and lower water years in order to provide things like submerged vegetation and recycling the nutrients. The USFWS does this often with the wetlands they have the ability to control water levels in on some of our larger National Wildlife Refuges.
It's been a pretty darn wet year for the Bismarck area. We are about 6.74" of moisture above normal now for the calendar year.

FWIW, Mobridge is also some 6 inches above normal for the year:

I’ve done SK many times. Access is good but changing. Depending on where in the province, you can have no ducks and all geese or vice versa. If still going I wouldn’t leave for a week yet. The best hunting up there is on a timeline few understand. For the better i might add.Kurtr, You should go to Saskatchewan Waterfowl hunting. I say it's the best Waterfowl hunting in North America. I agree, if I was going this year. I would go now. Go to North Battlefords for a start. Last year when I went thru that area the 2nd week of Oct there were more Geese then I have ever seen. I would go NW about 100 miles and start hunting. You can always go South if you go past them.I’ve done SK many times. Access is good but changing.
