Has anyone had experience with a heat powered fan on a buddy heater? Worth the money? And if so which one .

I bought a cheap one on Amazon and it definitely works and move lots of air. Has a pretty good buzz to it so I don't use it in the deer blind but its nice in the fish house to help heat more evenly

Same experience, bought one similar to this, and it surprising on how much hot air it moves in the ice house.

keep in mind , you have to have it above the flame . I have a cooking rack on mine that I cover with tinfoil and set the heater on that.

Scheels also sells one made for the Buddy heater. $39.99. I bought a cheap wood stove one years ago and cut slots on it to fit on the Buddy. Works great.

The cheap little one I purchased was all bent up the second time I went to use it. Pretty wimpy little fan that needs a case or something to prevent the rough ice effn it up

I've still been carrying mine in original box with the foam packaging, bounces around in the sled cruising the lake.

I've had 2 of the original eco fans over the years on my wood stove. the first one got knocked off the stove and got bent so i took it apart to find the magic that makes them spin. if i remember the eco fan before the internet were a couple hundred bucks.
