The science behind them is crazy to me. Plate heats up and probably runs for 3 minutes after you pull it away from heat...

I agree, pretty cool stuff. Two sterling engines have followed me home over the years and when I saw the fans I just had to have one.

looks nifty but my buddy on low in my flip over is often too much heat already. I tend not to ice fish when its below zero, not sure I need something like this.

That is the reason I use the fan as to distribute so it "isn't" so hot down at seat level.
