Agreed gee 3s nice quad...Have been watching this as well. Recently purchased a DJI Air 3S for recreational use and am wondering what, if any, effect this might have on recreational dji users.
Will be a bit of a learning curve for a senior citizen but an amazing piece of technology. Would like to re-kindle some old and likely diminished photography skills when time allows.Agreed gee 3s nice quad...
?? What can we buy then?Well so much for DJI recreational drones in America, just read the Fcc put the kibosh on DJI drones 12/22/2025... new purchases. A guy can't have any fun dang-it.
That's kinda where I'm at . . .Drones freak me out…
That is where I was a few years ago. We live on the Missouri and had someone piloting a drone along the shoreline (from a pontoon) a number of times over a couple of months several years ago. Neighbors expressed concern to Burleigh Co Sheriffs dept and their only advice was to not shoot it down! While in Florida last winter, I took a drone class with the intent of better understanding the technology. It resulted in a purchase of a DJI Air 3S. While still a novice, I have over 90 flights logged and continue to be amazed by the technology and photo / video capabilities of the drone. As a recreational pilot, I do not fly it in residential or populated areas.Drones freak me out…
