The death grip will make it 100 million times better. Make sure your auto NUC is turned on mine goes back to manual when I take the battery out for a while. My friend has the same one as you and it’s a good picture. It’s crazy how judging distance is so different through the scope . First one we shot thought it was over 100 and it was 60. I will try and post a video through his tomorrowwell I went out at night first time with my nocpix l35r. Mixed results. I called up two. One sat 413 yds away and one walked right within 75 yds and I missed uhhhg! long story...I forgot my death grip tripod but had a trigger sticks bi. Well it didn't matter cuz I realized I was sitting on an ice mound and sticks kept slipping and I dont have a scanner so I had use rifle. That sucks. Arms got tired. And can't shoot off knees like I used to. Belly seems a little bigger. Anyway I see this what looks like a white ball coming down the path at me. Literally looked like a ball. I watched it and it just slowly came. Finally I could make out ears and little legs. knew it was a yote but really disappointed in clarity. I must need some adjustments on the scope. It finally turned broadside and I could tell well then what it was. I thought well...its about 300 yds. So hit range button...shit 149!! I heard it was difficult telling distance in dark. I killed lots of yotes never panic or even get bent out of shape. Well, I about shit my pants! Just gonna pull trigger and it stepped off path and disappeared in ditch playing wind a bit. I waited and it finally popped up broadside to my right. Had to adjust my sitting. Hit range..73yds. I almost blacked out lol! Heart was pounding!! Don't know what happened. Don't think I steadied well on knees, heart flopping like a fish....I snapped a shot and missed. Kinda think I used the range box vs crosshairs. It just jogged away but my foxbang went off to kiyi and is stopped. I ranged again at 235. shot and it bolted and ran for just a ways and disappeared in kind of an open corn field. I shouldve been able to see it. Kinda think I killed it but not 100% sure. Maybe not and didn't go look in the dark. Never felt scope was focused well. But was when sighting in I thought. I played with the focus wheel after it happened. Wonder if another computer adjustment?? Creepy hunting in dark by yourself. Bigfoot or mt. lion gonna jump me?? But im hooked. Cant wait to get out again. Did a ton wrong but got it now! Need a scanner
This too.Make sure your auto NUC is turned on mine goes back to manual when I take the battery out for a while.
NUC: Non-Uniformity Corrections. Usually you’ll hear it “click” when it freezes.Auto NUC?? Is that where it kinda clicks and freezes for second?? It did that

Guess I’m not sure…I’ll have to look again. Thx!NUC: Non-Uniformity Corrections. Usually you’ll hear it “click” when it freezes.
No offense but I bet you’re turning the diopter rather than the focus. Or, you haven’t focused the diopter. One of the two.
here is the vid from his scope and it is zoomed in so that distorts the pic moreGuess I’m not sure…I’ll have to look again. Thx!
Were you using the focus ring back by your eyepiece, or out towards the Objective lens?Guess I’m not sure…I’ll have to look again. Thx!
Its pretty simple once you use it a few times. Once they are set up its pretty much hands off. Its kinda like the first time some one ranges with a reticle and does the mathThermals sound like a complete pain in the ass from reading this!!
THAT is a pain in the ass!!…… Its kinda like the first time some one ranges with a reticle and does the math
