I compare some of this to the street boulevards. It's public property but the adjacent homeowner is responsible for maintenance. Most city homeowners would hate if people came through and tore up their grass and made a mess for them to have to deal with. There is a lot of variables to this of course, depends on each road, ROW widths, and maintenance responsibilities, along with any liabilities (the fence just past right of way and accident happens with sue happy society).

that amount of wrappers from a specific brand of ice cream bar seems strange, almost intentional. Do you have any history with women or neighbors that like dove ice cream bars?
i knew a guy that it was quart Budweiser bottles. he figured who it was, same guy after work got a quart for the ride home. He saved them for a year then dumped them in the guys front yard.

Solution: Everyone who ditch rides needs to have an ID# on a large flag on a fiberglass pole.

If that became law, those that are concerned about trespassers can readily ID the offender and call it in.

Game cameras are cheap and easy - so it'd be easy for landowners to gather proof of some asshats trespassing.
This makes sense and is relatively cheap.

It will never happen….😂

One sticky issue with enforcement of ditch riding regs is that the type of character who rides around on other people's property with an ATV and doesn't give two poops is also the type of character that would get a kick out of trying to outrun the law. Major PITA for them.

I believe that county rights of ways have to be maintained in a manner to prevent erosion in order to receive federal road funds.

Where is a fella supposed to ride these machines?
I really only use mine for ice fishing, and occasionally to haul out some yard waste to the recycle bins as it is licensed and street legal.

Exactly . . .
Little to none trails to ride in this state compared to others. Buddy hauls his SxS to Minn to ride

One would be pretty hard pressed to find a more fun time to spend a day/weekend than doing this with a group in the spring/summer!
Yep but it sucks when you blow a tire and you have to ride bitch back to the truck to get your spare because you told yourself you were sure you wouldn't need one. Ask me how i know
