Sakakawea, to my understanding has close to zero reproduction on its own. They stock the fish from the eggs they squeeze out of the devils lake bitches.
Not sure if you're being serious but pretty sure most of the eggs for the whole state stocking program have been taken from Sak the last handful of years. I think they say the western part of Sak does ok with natural repro but the east end lags...

Lake Erie has commercial netting on the Canadian side . The DNR in Ohio says keeping the big ones doesn’t hurt the populations . There are millions of walleyes in the system.

There are an estimated 90 million fish in the system.

The experts say the big resivoirs fish harvest has no impact either.
