I would be fine with one year of an antlerless tag and one of an "any" tag. Multiple years of doe tags with the deer population the way it is does not make sense.Right , and if you say anything you’re cruel …..

Well then they must be reading this form because it just got changed.Re-read it - archery is still an any tag. It had been talked about making it antlered only but not happening this year.
No …. Archery is buck only … or the regs are lyingRe-read it - archery is still an any tag. It had been talked about making it antlered only but not happening this year.
You have to understand what is set by statute and what game and fish can control. Youth deer licenses are mandated by century code. Game and Fish doesn't have the ability to not issue those licenses.Right , and if you say anything you’re cruel …..
They can change some of it . Dates , age limits …..You have to understand what is set by statute and what game and fish can control. Youth deer licenses are mandated by century code. Game and Fish doesn't have the ability to not issue those licenses.
Dates - yes, age limits - no, they are set in statute. The original youth doe season was for 12 and 13 year olds to experience hunting prior to getting a buck tag at 14. There have been multiple changes to it since but they are changes that have occurred legislatively in the century code so G&F is bound by them. They can change some of it . Dates , age limits …..

That was the original youth deer season. It allowed for 14 years old's to get a guaranteed buck tag. The add on to that was a youth whitetail doe only season where they were limited to hunting only during the youth deer season and needed to be accompanied by an unarmed mentor. That has been expanded to include 11 year old's or even 10, if their birthday occurs in the same year as the season but after the season opener. It has now been extended to the regular gun season as well. Along with that, 12 and 13 year old's have been included in the antelope season. The original was 14 and a one time deal . In about 94 or so
