Always wear mine. It's made of tungsten so it's pretty heavy. Easy to notice when it's not on my finger. Most worried about it when fishing and get wet hands. Should have gotten it a half size smaller.

(after climbing back into my chair, after see that skinned digit)...

Mine stays on all the time, but I don't do much of anything dangerous.

I've seen some inexpensive silicone wedding rings that a few hunting buddies have gotten, and they are stretchy. Seems like a good alternative, if you're in danger of getting wounded.

Just about lost mine down the ice hole just a few short months after putting it on. Dropped it and it bounced a few inches away from my hole. I'm in an office chair all day so I wear it everyday other than at the gym and when i'm working on things in the garage. I have a friend who went the tattoo route. For someone in a field that you cant wear one it seems to be a good alternative.

A month into the marriage, I was at a party. Showing everyone how to crush beer cans on their heads. Lost it. Bought another one and wear it about 2 nights a year.......

after my massive weight gain, it is no longer removable, which is fine since I am a desk jockey. Sometimes in a cold environment I am able to slip it off.

The earlier picture of the missing flesh is really unnecessary, and makes me feel queasy

Ex sister in law and her fiance were driving home drunk from Mandan about 6 years ago and got into a fight, she threw her 10k ring out the window going pretty fast on interstate. As far as I know its still laying somewhere between the river and State Street exit... They went and looked for several hours the next day but never did find it...

I'd be all over that treasure hunt if I lived in Bis

I've worn my wedding ring once - at the wedding. Its been in my wife's jewelry box since......... least I think its there. Its been 30 years since we got married and I haven't seen the ring in probably that long. I don t recall what it even looks like.........
My bud and I were out on the road for work and out on the town one night, he took his ring off at some point for whatever reason. We get back to the motel, he panics cause he cant find it, I tell him check his pockets, not there so we trace our steps back to the honkey tonk looking everywhere, on the sidewalks, in the street, alley way, you name it. We give up, walk back to the motel and he finds his ring in his pocket when he pulls his card key out! Of course beer drinking had nothing to do with it!

Qalo rings are great for outdoors, working out. etc. I leave my gold one at home, wear the Qalo for about everything else, they have an outdoor collection too

I appreciated the educational impact. Not pleasant to view.

Not where I'd like to be
Lost mine about a month in at the Devils Tower campground in the dark. Luckily found it with a flashlight after a very tense hour or so with the missus. I got it sized smaller, which is better, but still leave it off hunting, fishing, or at the gym. My wife would not be ok with just leaving it in her jewelry box -- mostly due to my charm and rugged good looks.

Once lost a promise ring while getting out of the combine after shaking diesel fuel off my hands and off the top of my head; i simply cannot recall why i had diesel on my hands midway thru the day of harvest.. Anywho, I was on hand and knees searching through piles of stubble while i could hear over the radio, "wtf are you doing and why is that f-n combine still stopped!?" Jusssst as i was about to give up after 20 mins with so many slivers in my fingers; there it was, I was simply shocked as complete shit.
Would be a better story if that ring served its name's purpose, but talk about finding a needle in a haystack..(this was in the days before all wheat was straight-cut also mind you, theee good ole days.) still have it to this day somewhere on a keychain as a reminder/token to just not give up ;:;rofl
