Are you a 2 stage or a 1 stage guy USMCD1?

To each his own, I say there's more to go wrong on a 2 stage and you can get get everything you want in a single stage if you know what you're doing, I've also wrecked a few. My spousal unit was the national champion in the service rifle comps at Camp Perry a while back so I was fully engulfed in trigger dynamics and doing what I did in the Marine Corps I figured out a long time ago that triggers make a mediocre shooter a cut above those with a pos trigger. On my LRI guns I run Jewell triggers set from "the man" at LRI at 1.5 lbs. and have put them through hell and back with no complaints, I have a few Timneys with no complaints and on our AR platforms we run custom hi speed triggers from Geissele tuned to our liking that are two staged so RHIP rules in this case. Yes, our kids are spoiled brats when it comes to guns. Little bastards, I had to figure this shit out on my own trying not to lose in matches with the wife, it didn't work.

JSE Surplus got hit hard by a flood. Inventory is limited and shipping slow right now.

Because all the bitter-clingers are hoarding ARs right now, lower parts kits are out of stock just about everywhere. Midway has a partial LPK in stock for a good price: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/862947/ar-stoner-customizable-lower-receiver-parts-kit-ar-15

With this kit, you'll still need a grip+screw, trigger guard, and trigger/hammer/spring combo. I've got extra trigger guard and grip laying around. I can send them to you if you order this kit, then just buy a trigger when you get a chance.

Some weekend the weather is going to be ugly you'll have to stop over. I've got a couple stripped lowers and a couple parts kits. While I'm sure I could Youtube the whole deal, you're more entertaining than You tube and I've never tried to build one from parts. I'm sure I can, and I'm sure I can learn quicker from someone who's BTDT.

Geissele trigger I put in my wife's AR impressed me. It wasn't Timney expensive but was a huge improvement over the PSA trigger.

I reference Youtube vids on assembly questions.

ND's Flatter Half
Bit the bullet and bought a lower build kit from PSA. All mil-spec stuff, but it was on sale and I thought what the heck, gotta get the ball rolling! Might upgrade the trigger group at some point, but for now this will work. Was feeling a bit antsy because I kept checking on their lower kits and whatnot, only to find them out of stock. And not just PSA! Those parts are gone everywhere.

Now I just need a good upper kit and I'll be set. Well, and optics, but I'm not as concerned about that at the moment.
