This is my first dog so I was scared but as soon as I seen him I knew he was for me, i was raised on a farm so I was always around animals. I got him at http://www.adventureboundgundogs.com/labpuppies.html which i was very happy with getting a dog from them. Very nice people not just because of thier operation but becuase they are not afraid to express thier love for thier president or thier God.
For the record that meme made me cry to just knowing that how much love neco gives me already it will be hard to let him go when he is gone.
At just a little over 10 weeks he is potty trained, can play fetch, pretty good on the leash, and only cries for 20 minutes at night then he finally goes to sleep.

That poem pulled at my heart strings also.... This is one that I found that speaks so truly as well.

Lunker, that is a really nice poem. Rainbow bridge always gets me too after we had to put our black lab down a few years ago.

My 11 year old 130lb black lab named Macho. He likes to help himself to the kids dinner plates on our 4ft tall high top table. Although he is still in pretty good shape his hunting days are behind him as after about 20 minutes he will be walking behind you.

Enjoy them while you can. We had to put the big boy down in early June of this year. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Cried for days. He was 12-1/2. Turned into a man with this dog, met my wife and had our kids with him. Wife got him for me for Valentines day when we were dating. Drove 250 miles to get him for free. Best dog a guy could ask for. I sure miss him this summer jumping on the side of the boat hearing drag go out checking out to see what you caught and licking the walleye in the net on the boat floor.. He was a one of a kind.

My lab was the best fishing partner except the having to lick the fish before you threw it back or into the live well.

Royce has to lick fish too... but only certain species. Walleyes and perch get the licky licky.

Largemouth and Northern get shunned. Hard.

He's French.

I have no idea what any of this means.

Also- after one lickage he can never be tempted to lick that same fish again.

Muley , sorry for your loss☹️. Wish they would last longer than they do as they really do become part of your family and life. It sucked hooking up the camper and driving to the lake the first week of July for the first time this summer after putting Gunnar down last fall. Was a long quiet ride.

This is my boy Bob, a Sumatran water monitor, mildly venomous, super curious, and loves people food more than an indoor lab. First pic is shortly after I got him, slightly larger than a hatchling.

Next pic is after a year to a year and a half.

He loves the pool (water monitor) and roaming the back yard...one evening he wandered under the deck, and I instantly thought, "oh shit, this is gonna be fun prying his stubborn ass out from under there". 3 minutes later I hear a squeel that sent chills up my spine...and then out comes Bob proud as can be working a rabbit down his throat.

Now he's around 7 feet long and lives with my buddy in Florida. Had to move him since I needed room for taxidermy. I get to see him every year, and he recognises me and gets excited, follows me around my buddy's yard until he notices the Koi pond and decides to eat a few hundred bucks in goldfish.

Guy,

We haven't seen any pics of Royce lately. How old is he now?

Royce is now seven. He had both hind ICL's worked on. The second one was done twice... pretty sure the vet screwed up the first time.

He's now pretty much back to "normal" so I just might get to hunt pheasants with him again. That'll be awesome if it happens.

But I'm scared to death of him effing it up hunting again - so I'm very much on the fence about taking him back out.
