Have heard from reliable source that snows have been migrating over SE SD the last 2 days. Wow its still January.

Crazy winter,planned a timber duck in AR again this winter,buddy has a hunting lodge/ operation
Weather shut us down last year and again last week because of a blizzard. At least this year we didn't make the drive only to turn back after a couple days empty handed.
Waterfowl are all f'd up,no snow 50 deg temps.

I've seen two groups of geese in the last week. They're moving north already.

With nice weather all winter alot of honkers stayed for sure, hear them most nights north Bismarck

There was 9k snows on Sak during the mid winter waterfowl survey in ND mid Jan. I woild assume small pockets stayed in SD as well

Snows are thick in SD, They should be in ND next week or earlier.

Found birds while on the road today north of Woonsocket sd along 37 one big flock working a field not to many in the air, found a second bunch south end of lake Thompson south of de Smet with quite a few in the air

Well its on... cant remember how many times i drove all night to get in on a good shoot with friends hunting nodak only to have a spring blizzard push the geese back south sometimes all the way to Nebraska.

Nice kurt,im envious, as i aged i sold off all my layouts,today its all about being comfy, "A frame" fold out chair watching my pup so focused makes my hunt,scratch out a couple birds,"Bonus".

I got a spot i think the aframe is going to work in. Its small water that they like to loaf in if it works could be a banger

I agree I do both love A Frame a little more work, bitch using layouts at older age .
