The big temp swings and 180 degree strong wind switches have to have had an effect on them. The river makes sense after last weeks dip below zero froze a lot of the sheet-water just as some bigger numbers were pushing North.
I would think so to. I just hope the juvies follow the same route. I know east of here to roscoe is pretty covered up to

Temps in the 40s and 50s and south winds the next 3 days, should have them moving up.

The Mobridge Tribune had a picture of all the geese. People never remember seeing so many before.

Drifting the high plains
I was outside buffing out a paint job on my topper about 3:00pm yesterday and there was a goose tornado going down on the Jamestown reservoir about 1/4 mile south of my house. Thousands were nearly in gun range as they broke from the flock and headed NW towards the Pipestem reservoir.

The geese that were on the river are all gone i would suspect the morons driving the boats through the middle of them run them off. Idiot guy said he didnt catch fish because the geese were making to much noise

People fish, and don't hunt, so who are you to call them morons for doing what they like to do.

The moron part is saying the geese made to much noise so that’s why he did not catch fish. I have heard a lot of dumb reasons why people don’t catch fish and that has to be at the top. Plus driving right through the middle of the flock of geese to run them off is pretty moronic . On top of that two 16 year old kids caught a limit that very same day 100 yards from where he was
