I do but 7 homes in this cul-de-sac. Other dogs around the area. I'm thinking of tacking a bunny or a fish carcass ( if I could catch something worth cleaning😄) from a tree high enough so they can't get. Maybe get a shot with 22, or 22-250. Or maybe trap underneath and make sure neighbors are aware.
Thats good if u can take care of yotes but alot wont be killed or hunted . My area they are mostly hunting mice. Through the nights its like those dogs are really smart. Have actually seen some young punk coyote killers. Its cool but they dont hunt in the right areas. I want to get them to try for dogs in the shit but it messed up the deer movement . Its a win or nothing for dogs. Imo

Not where I'd like to be
Twas a bit nipply Sunday night, but the coyotes were motivated.

First set (pictured) was only -10. Two came flying in right away to some rabbit. Got them both. A while later I was watching a 3rd that got hung up when 3 more piled in. My buddy got 1 of them.

By the 3rd set, it was -20. Batteries (and fingers) don't last for crap in that weather.

Nice work. Yep, cold temps ain't easy to call in.
Got to Montana at daybreak years ago. Dead calm winds. Temp was _ 37*.
Made 11 stands that day and called coyotes in on every one.
When we quite mid day, the temp was _ 21*.
Laying prone was brutal !!

Have called a bit on the river we talked about. Killed 7, missed a couple and a few back doored me downwind.

Shot this small female right at dark yesterday at 80 yards with a .22lr out my back window. Dropped her in her tracks.:)

Went for a quick tour today calling along the red River.
Got set up on the mn side and seen a big coon on the ND side.
For shits n giggles, I put on " coon fight" on my foxpro to see if it would respond. It did untill a coyote came barreling in and it went up a tree.
First time I've ever called in a coyote with coon sounds!
