Likely entering the US illegally isnt considered a felony? Id have to research this but I think immigrants can own guns etc, so likely those we consider illegal, but the govt considers legal because they are pending asylum seekers, can also own guns?

I guess I'm not sure how Illinois is about gun laws overall or what their gun culture is, are they like a California, New York, etc. or are they like Texas? If they are strict about gun ownership and trying to take gun rights away from law abiding citizens then this shows that there are too many politicians and people in power that are trying to find ways to destroy this country, if they are "gun friendly" then they are just being dumb. In all honesty if a person is here illegally then what is stopping them form getting their hands on an illegal gun? What do they really have to loose?
