Been a big fan of his since early on, always thought it was cool that a young kid from Idaho could compete in BASS. And today was a magical day for him, good things come to good people. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸŽ£πŸŽ£

Looks like he’s fishing Channel A on Devils Lake. Always amazed how he was one of the few boats to find this spot.

I would have managed to step on and break most of his rods in the bow while trying to land that pig…but that’s just me…

Pulled my second biggest through the ice last Sunday. So much fun and a fair amount of stress on light rod with 4lb line and a tungsten buckshot, little hooks are tought to get sunk into a good spot. Last 2yrs I'm running Evolution 44UL and 44L and I can tell you those rods are a legit game changer for managing good fish on light line and lures. Got my PB last year on the 44UL w/ Piscfun ICX Frost Inline and this on the 44L w/ Ceymar CBR-1000. Also a 7.5in hole makes things a little interesting sometimes

You should fish that lake in the spring.

There are definitely some pigs in there.

Nice walleyes too.

I barely have time to ice fish anymore and have even less time during open water. Maybe this year I can change that. Walleye's and I don't get along for some reason, maybe its me or maybe its because bass fight 10x better so I target them. Then again I've gotten to the point where just about anything that stretches the string can give me some joy, accept bullheads those things have no value to me

The walleye are far and few between, if it’s the lake I think it is, and there are nice crappie in there in decent numbers as well. Or used to be. Damn nice largemouth though!

If it's the lake I think you think it is, you're damn right. Big walleye but not plentiful, huge sunfish, huge crappie, huge bass. Most think of it as a perch factory because they don't know how to fish it.

Ok, I'll name the lake. Lake Wishuknew.
