    The simple fact is we are paying plenty of taxes already. There's fuel and vehicle taxes to support the roads and arterial infrastructure. There's income and sales tax to pay for schools, fire and law enforcement. There's enough in the slush fund already to support any additional needs for years...

    Why does one need a receipt or proof of purchase for these types of things? Isn't possession of the item itself enough proof of purchase? Never have understood this when it comes to lifetime warranty work.
