The Shimano Convergence rod is stamped IM6, the Scheels Outfitter rod says IM7, the Scheels Proclassic is IM8 as is the Scheels Tournament and Escalade. The Fenwick rods are carbon fiber wrapped. Don't know what the IM numbers mean. Thanks for the recommendations, that's what I'm looking for.
The worst pain I ever had in my life was the first bout of gout I had. Could only lay on the recliner for a week and cry if I moved. Used Allopurinol for a while but finally got off my ass and increased my activity level and haven't had a bout in a couple of years. Dropped the Allopurinol...
I could use some advice on how to use the various combos I've accumulated. I've been to several fishing seminars at sports shows but they generally talk about different equipment than I have so I end up confused. Which of my rigs should I use for jigging, crankbaits, bottom bouncers, jigging...
Before you buy a .17 HMR take a look at a .17 WSM. You can pick up a Savage stainless steel heavy barrel model for about $350 or less and it's twice the gun that the HMR is. I have one and love it for pdog shooting. It will easily reach out 50 to 100 yards further than the HMR and has much...
I have an 2 year old Elite 7-HDI and last year picked up an Elite 5-HDI with CHIRP. Even with the smaller screen the CHIRP unit is so much clearer and cleaner I prefer to use it over the bigger unit. Much better definition.
Their regular prices are generally way overpriced but they have aggressive promotions and discounts. If you pay attention you can find some pretty good deals. Their return and replacement policies are very good in my opinion. I usually order online and if I'm not satisfied I take it to the...
I was an extremely picky eater when I was a kid and it was a constant battle for the nuns in parochial school to get me to eat any of the soggy doughy German food the old Lunch Ladies prepared. I once spent the entire day at my desk in first grade with a plate of jello setting in front of me...
Does anyone know anything about these augers? A friend asked me to post this as he said their you tube videos look good but he can't find anyone who has one. Guess they run off a cordless drill.
Back when my little brother was in high school and into shooting anything that moved I bought him a taxidermy kit for a Hun Partridge. Several years later I received it back from him for xmas. Cheap bugger thought I had forgotten I gave it to him first. My first exposure to 'regifting' LOL.
Sorry, that picture is at least 5 years old. She's totally deaf now and cant hunt anymore. Still pretty healthy though other than a bit of arthritis. On the other hand, except for a pair of new knees I look the same (if not better :)).
This is correct. Also, the lessee must remove the signs when the cattle are taken out and can not post the land until he/she puts livestock in. The signs must have a beginning and ending date and be printed by the Trust Lands Dept.
I work for the Trust Lands Dept. and the only motorized...
No way I would buy one anymore without CHIRP. I have a one year old Elite-7 HDI with downscan and bought a cheap Elite 5x CHIRP this spring (no GPS) just for a depth finder on the counsel. I usually sit on the bow with the 7 and the trolling motor but the 5 with CHIRP is so much superior to...
Got my first deer on that game refuge south of Dawson in 1971. Game and Fish had a check station at the west entrance along Hwy. 3 and they would watch the whole refuge from a high hill in the middle of the refuge. If you shot a deer you just waved your vest until the biologist on the hill...
