    2020 Muzzleloader tag

So,I've been at this awhile, drew 3 muzzy buck tags in a row before inlines became the rage, and not one since.I enjoy shooting them,so heres my thoughts.I own QD mounts for a leupold superslam, used during regular season.Pyrodex and triple & give you positive ignition with almost all muzzies.I use...

Strikemaster Solo 154 furl tank grommet leak

I have also heard good things of DRock.I tried locally to find a grommet to fit my tank and had no luck, but when I started to look for carb kits on amazon there were all kinds of grommets, the carb kit I bought was complete with fuel lines and grommet,I think it ran about 20$ for the kit.

    youth bows

The acute angle on all these short axle bows makes them almost impossible to shoot without some type of release, alot of companies make index finger releases for youth. This is one area you dont want to go cheap,as releases with heavy triggers or alot of travel will develop form issues. Im not...

    DIY spray foam- fish house

Have to agree with raider, just as cheap to have it done.I use alot of 2pf foam for air sealing in weatherization. The closed cell foam we use runs about 1.00$ a board ft.You can find kits that are half that price, but they will be open cell foam and will have an R value of about 3 per in,closed...

    Insulate garage ceiling

Working in weatherization,I would'nt install anything but blown in attics, specifically cellulose. If you were to crawl into an attic with a thermal camera and pressurize a house, insulated with batts you will find leakage at every seam, and alot no matter how good they are laid in. Cellulose is...

Archery Test for City Bow Hunt

I could see this same test being used for kids wanting to hunt,it is actually pretty lienent for accuracy in a hunting situation, but absolutely ridiculous to use this same test for young kids wanting to learn. I taught archery for Get Hooked on the Outdoors, for over 25 years, and many can become...
