    I thought about going this route, but I won't be around the truck to keep the generator filled up. I won't be coming out until there is an elk down or it's time to leave. How long do you think the dry ice would last? If the temps are like they were last year, I want to get the meat on ice ASAP.

    If you're looking for a taller boot, lowa or crispi is the way to go. Personally, I would stay away from kennetreks. I still wear my danners late in the season, but from August until December I've been wearing salomon quest 4d gtx. They are a mid hiking boot that is very comfortable and durable.

    UND Nickname Petition

    I'm not sure what will happen when the meet or exceed the 5k mark. I think that pole would have been different had the name "North Dakota" been left in the mix. Regardless of what they choose, very few are going to be satisfied with the outcome based on the names that are left.
