    My uncle has a friend with a big ranch in the Great Falls area who he said landlocks a bunch of public land and has had a group do this. Pisses him off to no end but that is great!

    I don't think anyone could argue that Sak has many times more fishing pressure than a lake like Fort Peck; it has to play a role even though Sak is huge. On the other hand if the water goes down the fish will go away anyway so might as well get while the getting is good.

    Just did a trip with my 2016 2.7. Got about 21 mpg with a 15-20 mph tailwind and about 15.5 coming back today into that 20-40 mph wind. Wasn't towing but I usually get 11-12 pulling an 18 ft. fiberglass. I have a little heavier tires than stock and I remember getting around 24 a couple times...

    Got a decent picture of a couple of them by the Hazelton boat ramp in early April 2012, it was an early spring that year. Sent them to the FWS guy at Long Lake and he enhanced the picture and said the one had a transmitter on it.
