I wondered the remote range as well. I've never tried too much with my I link remote. As long as when you spot lock and walk out of range, it stays locked and doesn't shut off or something. That would be my main concern. For or them to make this advertisement though, I would assume they've...

    Minn Kota Ulterra

Who's got one? The advertisement is funny, but I've seen it too many times. Just wondering if anyone has had problems with theirs yet...? Hopefully it's a winner, and I'll put one on next spring.

    boat ramp dumb@$$es

I don't blame ya for not saying anything. I struggle to speak up in that situation as well. This situation along with countless others is a courtesy thing that totally eludes some people, and I will never understand it.

    Burn it.

    Dish Tailgater

Yeah I've never seen one on the roof before. I don't see why it wouldn't work other than wind, like you said.

    Leaders for LeadCore

I've lost plenty of cranks but I've never broke my lead core before. I'm not even sure what test lead I run. I bend lots of treble hooks, but they're cheap and easy to replace.

    Leaders for LeadCore

That sounds good, but do you seriously stop and reel every rod up every time you snag? I don't.....I grab the spool and if it comes out great, if not, time for a new crank.

    Fresh water for the camper

John, just a quick Amazon search I come up with lots of options. They make a plastic 55 gallon drum that is used for rainwater but had several taps for hoses and fittings. They also make horizontal tanks that hold 35-55 gallons that look similar to a lawn spray tank. I think that one would...

A family graduation and, since it's further than I care to pull a boat, golf.

    top soil erosion?

Back in the dirty thirties, along with several other droughts, even native prairie ground eroded. No till is not going to stop, or even reduce wind erosion WHEN we get another severe drought. The thing about history is, it tends to repeat itself. I'm not saying tree rows are the sole answer...

    What's everyone using for nets?

This is what I use. Not gonna say I'm nice to it either. I'm sure I've lifted plenty of fish with it extended, but yeah I've heard the horror stories. I guess the fish I catch are too small to damage it.

    Transom Savers

Yeah I drive way too much rough gravel not to have one. Thanks for the opinions.

    scheels tent sale

I thought Minots sucked. Every "sale price" was the same price as Cabelas or anywhere else. Typiclal from my experience.

    How fast is your boat?

1880 with a 150 Yamaha, around 47-48. I try not to run WOT very often though. Usually when I'm running, I go between 38-43. Plenty fast.
