Zebra Mussels Discovered in Lake Ashtabula

Most water bugs/beetles have wings, fly all over at night - - - Updated - - - Perch, minnows, sticklebacks, and other species of fish spawn very shallow, multiple times a year, and have very sticky eggs. Those eggs stick to their feathers whenever they're swimmin around in the weeds. I've...

Is Detailed Vin check a scam??

I've been in the autobody/auto insurance biz for 15 years, and not once, has myself, anyone I worked with, or an insurance company reported vehicle damage to any of those sites. - - - Updated - - - Pretty sure Carfax is a waste of time and money.

Zebra Mussels Discovered in Lake Ashtabula

Dig a hole big enough to attract ducks n geese once it's filled with water, and it will have minnows, perch, and sticklebacks swimming around in it in one year. If fish eggs can survive in bird feathers, those velligers definitely can. And don't forget the wandering turtles with adult zeebs on...

Zebra Mussels Discovered in Lake Ashtabula

I've fished Milford reservoir in central kansas many times. Milford was loaded with zebra mussels, and the water was never clear. All the locals I ever talked to about it said the fishing stayed the same or got better.

    Amazing!!

The scissor method doesn't work as well for me. I use a short fillet knife and stab em in the throat area between the pectoral fins and where the gill covers meet, and make sure I dig the blade around in there until the blood starts flowing, then I make a slice at the base of the tail. I keep...

E85 approved for year round use? Anyone run the stuff?

Not one good thing about ethanol. Sure it burns cleaner, but what's the point when it takes burning nearly as much fossil fuel to make it. Bad mileage, fucks up every motor you put it in, it's junk.

    Slip Bobber on Sak?

Sometimes I'll toss an oversized red/white bobber out to deter clingons from fishing by me. If that don't work, I flip my spinning rod upside down and reel backwards while I'm jigging and ask anyone in earshot if there be largemouth or bream in this lake with my best southern accent.

    Slip Bobber on Sak?

Done it in the trees and off Rocky points, works good, but not as good as a jig and doesn't cover much water.

    Trolling with Spoons

I've cast & trolled daredevils for miles in my day. Sure I've caught a few walleye, but thats are the last method I would look at for improving catch rates or size when it comes to walleye. As far as depth control, you'd need something to take the spoon down for you, like dipsy divers...
