    Snagless set up for rocks

I use cranks, bait, plastics, even spoons behind bottom bouncers from shore. Cast up stream at 45 degrees, then reel up after it passes 45 degrees down stream. Keep rod tip high, and line tight as the current carries it by.

    Snagless set up for rocks

I've cast bottom bouncers from shore, the wire hits first and works as an early warning to lift my rig up. Fishing like that it really pays to know exactly where your bait is in the water column. Seasoned anglers can work a jig from shore within a foot of bottom and never snag up.

Some taxidermists will do a free or discounted mount if they can use the fish to cast a mold for future replicas.

Will oahe set a new record high water level

Sakakawea is looking to be in the same situation, shitload coming in, not much going out, and she's getting pretty full, 1848ish, and I think 1854 was the record in 2011.

    Don't go down this road......

If I remember right, wasn't there a porcelain breaking part of the tool you used before the extractor

    Don't go down this road......

Easy to change if you have the extractor tool. Just break em off, extract, and replace. Think I still have my old tool laying around I'll never use again. Never had issues with the extractor not grabbing them. I broke 7 saved 1.

    4th annual Hatchery Days

I've caught 2, and both were during high flow years. They stocked sakakawea with them, but they never took. Sakakawea gets just a bit too warm for them, especially when the lake turns over. I assume ones that are caught wash down from ft peck during high flows.

Keeping minnows more than 1 day

5 gal bucket with a Walmart bubble box. 2 D cell batteries will run a bubble box for 3-4 days straight. No ice, the temp fluctuations shock them too much. As long a there's bubbles there will be oxygen disolved into the water. But still try to keep them cool, in the shade, etc.

    Pecker pants bikers.....

After reading this...I realized I know one of these assholes...and then realized what else he does to promote psychotic angry outbursts from otherwise normal citizens. He's the asshole that speeds up when you're passing him on the highway, he's the asshole that walks into a restaurant 5 minutes...

    Tools on the boat

I'm too lazy to read thru prior posts, but has anyone mentioned a jaw spreader yet? Idk how many god damn times I've had a pike in the bottom of the boat with it's jaws locked up on a 9 dollar crankbait, Tangled in the net, that I can't begin to unfuck because the bastard won't open it's mouth.
