    Keeping Female Walleyes

Over 20-22" or so usually goes back. I don't worry about what others do as long as they follow the law. Way too many people are out there breaking law now that should get the attention. I'm not sure what the time of year has to do with anything. Unless we get to talk about when all those...

    30000cfs ???

Yep on April 30th we recieved at least a foot and a half of super wet snow on top of soil that couldn't handle any more. I remember having a yard with a big crawler about every foot a week before when it rained for 3 days. Then a few days after it rained for 10 days just after most folks in the...

    Targeting Drum...any tips?

We I was a kid I forgot to put the crawlers back in the fridge the night before. They weren't that nasty but bad enough to piss off my ol man and while he went to get more I sat in the boat and caught them as fast as I could reel in. That state record was a brute. He caught it on a spinner and...

    lamprey on a pike ??

pretty common in Russia I think. They pickle damn near everything so maybe that's the way to go. Seems like one of the weird food guys on tv was out catching them in Oregon on an episode I saw. Don't remember how they cooked them though.

You'll catch fish jigging, like 5575 said you have good days and bad. If the spot makes it possible drop a tipup or two in shallow for pike and lake trout just to not limit your opportunities. Having a chance at a laker makes things a bit more exciting.

Same as it is in ND. Other than guys catfishing I haven't seen many circle hooks around so that is probably a fair assessment.

Saw some pics from 3 weeks ago and a group of ten guys had tubs of walleyes at the cleaning tables with 4 fish between 31-35 inches. It was unreal. Setting lines and heading for the bar for the better part of the day then heading out to check is pretty normal.

Careful not to get into other peoples "spots" perfectly legal to string tip-ups and other set lines all over the place as long as they are checked every 24 hours. Guys get pretty cranky when you get too close to what ND calls "unattended lines."

    NCAA Basketball

UND was hitting some ridiculous shots for awhile. They played as good as they could of last night. Getting a c-note hung on them won't look good for the record book but they definitely threw all they had at them. The spread was a push last night also.
