    Yep it's crazy. Watford raised theirs as well. Gave the voters a "choice" either vote for an increase in the existing city sales tax or loose the entire city sales tax and "lose everything the city does". No option to keep the existing one. That being said at least there is a choice there...

    All of those charities and more are funded but blackjack and pull tabs and bingo as well as other gambling activities in ND. Plenty of gambling can be done in ND as is as long as a charity gets a cut.
