    20LB Power pro with the steel leader of your choice. if the water is clear and the pike are finicky I'll go with fluorocarbon leaders in the 10 to 20 lb range with circle hooks, or if I'm casting lures I'll make 30lb fluoro leaders.

    I Have a crappie to mount for someone and its tail is pretty ragged. If any of you catch a 14-15" crappie in the next month or two I'd be willing to buy the tail from you after you're done cleaning the fish for 20ish bucks or so. Just cut it off a half inch or so back and freeze it in a bag...

    No, no, no, no, no, absolutely not!!!. Do not get that 5 foot box. You midas well throw your nuts in the trash and buy an avalanche.     Redfish will eat anything, but if i were forced to choose one pattern for inshore grass flats reds it would be shrimp. inshore reds are always after shrimp. Shrimp to an inshore redfish is like a smelt to a tailrace walleye.
