    Who Drinks Alcohol While Fishing?

Depends on what i'm fishing for. Pan fish/bass...drink up. I never drink while walleye fishing just because I can't keep focus if I have drink. I'm one of those guys who barely talks when I'm fishing, particularly if I know there are fish in the area and I have yet to find them or we are...

    Dodge/Ram Trucks

I have driven my in-laws on several occasions and it seems like a nice truck. I just don't know what to expect in terms of quality and longevity for the Dodges.

    FBO a sinking ship

Awesome! The best part is when everyone with an NDA account leaves the room and there are only 3 left...baaa haaa!

    Dodge/Ram Trucks

First brand new truck I ever bought, at age 23, was a Chevy. Truck burned oil from day 2, ended up in a lemon-law lawsuit and I pretty much took it in the colon on the deal. It came down to who had more money to put towards legal fees. The whole thing got nasty, but I learned a lot about...

    Dodge/Ram Trucks

I totally agree. If I wasn't such a titewad the Tundra would be my first choice. I just can't get myself to pay 40,000+ for a damn vehicle...no matter what the make. - - - Updated - - - That's just it. I'm one that keeps a vehicle until it doesn't pay to fix it any longer. I know nothing...

    Infrared vs. Traditional Grills

I got ours at Walmart for like $325. The lid is stainless. When I put it together, it's the same shit as all the others I'm sure. It will last 5 years and be junk.

    Dodge/Ram Trucks

I'm at the point where I need to be looking for a new truck. Always been a Ford guy and had good luck with them and will absolutely not buy a Chevy. Currently have an 2004 F150 with 125,000 on it that will get passed on to one of my boys. I'm amazed at the prices of Ford and Chevy trucks and...

    Infrared vs. Traditional Grills

After two recommendations from friends and researching them on Consumer Reports we bought the Charbroil 3 burner Tru Infrared. There are a few others, I think Weber is one of them, that make infrared grills. We spend like 2k on prime steer beef each year and between that beef and this grill life...

    Infrared vs. Traditional Grills

I've been using dry chips. I spread a handful across the back edge of the grill when I warm it up. After about 5-10 minutes they will be smoking and I'll start cooking. Usually they don't burn up by the time I'm done cooking so I just leave them there for whatever I cook next...usually it's...

    Fighting the Weeds

If you're fishing for snakes use a lure called a Norman Weed Walker. It is a top water bait with an inverted hook that is actually out of the water when you retrieve it. We used it for muskies in MN over the top of cabbage. The pike would come out of the deep water and absolutely hammer them.

    FBO a sinking ship

At some point those that like to create animosity may show up here. They are the bad we have to tolerate. I think the "reputation" part of this site will help with that as we will be able to point out the problems to Vollmer. As far as destroying FBO, their management did it to themselves.

    FBO a sinking ship

The whole thing is unfortunate for them. For you young kids on here, learn from what happened to FBO and who is gaining from their loss. This is a great lesson in both hiring practices and how to run a small business. Running a website like FBO or NDA you absolutely have to take some of the...

    Infrared vs. Traditional Grills

Yes. You can throw them right on the grate. The grates on the infrared have just small slits in them.

    Infrared vs. Traditional Grills

I'm not sure what everyone is cooking with, but I went to a infrared grill about a month ago. Have used it several times now and I'll tell you what infrared is the cat's ass. No flare-ups, even heat, sears steaks quickly, throw your wood chips on the grill...awesome. I had steaks at a buddy's...

    Farming...How's it going for everyone?

I know right? We've talked to the old guys who have been farming Hettinger/Adams Counties for 75 years and not a one has any recollection of it ever being this wet. - - - Updated - - - The only reason we welcomed the 0.25 we got was because we had the floaters come out the day before putting...
