    She's pretty much good to go. A fair bit of ice east of the bridge and a bit on the west side but its all broken up and going fast. The ramp was clear when I was there with no ice on the pavement.

    Yeah it totally looks like cattails to me but this lake has never had them since I hunted that area meaning they are pre 93 at the vary least. She's fairly shallow so I would have thought they would have rotted away but must be like you said with the water inhibiting decay.

    Yeah done it. Still prefer the bells especially the ones that lock on so you don't end up launching it fifty yards when you set the hook.
