1128.30 for me....what the shit. I have 4 pref points but I have to carry some others with less to 0 points on a party app so I'm looking at about 62% to draw my archery elk permit. Sometimes I'm a nice guy.

    Buy a Silencer

You'll need a user serviceable 30 cal can.....I'm not familiar with the options available but I'd suggest giving Dakota Silencer a call and see what they have to say. Or Silencer Shop

    Buy a Silencer

I suggest you figure out which is more important to you, a rimfire or 30 cal, and purchase one of those first, then save up and buy the other caliber at a later date....1 can for rimfire-30 cal is no good. You'll need thread adapters, rimfire guns are threaded different then the 22-30 cals...

    Anyone have a bow press?

I don't really like to tinker on my crap but have to out of necessity because of where I live also. I've had cable presses and they suck. Buy a Last Chance Archery EZ Green and be done with it. So much more enjoyable and easier to work on things when it's pressed like that vs cable system. And...

    Recommendations on silencers

Dakota Silencer, they have a place in carrington they can ship to....Or dry Docks in carrington and Sportsman's Loft in Minot would be good options too depending on your location. Edit..I see you're in kulm. Do you have ND CCW? If so you can buy from dakota silencer and they are approved from...

    Venison Ring Sausage

I use a half cup of Mortons tender quick (among other things) for 25lb batch of sausage. It's cold smoked (no heat) for anywhere 3-6 hours and then cooked at a later time to the proper temp. Never used pickling salt but I don't see why you couldn't??

    Question about gun safes?

Questions: Would 1 bigger one or 2 smaller ones be preferred? What kind of locks do people prefer most? What accessories are required for humidity and light controls? Does a guy really need the high end shit or would a basic model from a GOOD company like Fort Knox do the job? My main...

    Snow camo

I have an older pair of these, way back when they used to offer them in all white. Not sure what has changed with the new ones but I'm sure something has... They work good, but are not lightweight. I have worn shorts under them before because they get toasty when snow shoeing in a ways.

    Teriyaki Venison Meat Sticks

Mossy have you ever made a tangy summer sausage similar to the Cloverdale stuff? I see you sell citric acid on the site, what SS seasoning would go best to make a tangy batch? Any other tricks for SS, as I've never made it before? Thanks

    Teriyaki Venison Meat Sticks

Mossy I wondered how the YS640 would be for something like this. Looks like it worked good. Maybe squeeze on another 5lbs?? Did you ever have to rotate the meat? Would you ever do summer sausage on there or should they be hung?

    Snow shoes

The Bob Maki bindings are another great option and I guarantee there isn't a quicker and easier binding to get into. Also if you Google you can probably fund plans to make your own out of inner tube. I can say the surplus shoes suck horribly on any hills or ice. But if you're a little bigger...
