    winter vittles...

    I usually make stews, soup, chili, spaghetti, roasts, and this fall a lot of it is going to be elk. I have an any antlered deer tag the end of the month so I'm hoping to add a little more meat to the freezer. ;)

    I know you'll be happy with it. My EX has a 700 AAC in 308 and she loves it. Dead nuts accurate, Hogue over moulded stock and it's already threaded.

    My Ex-wife has a bunch of 700 Remingtons. All of them are accurate as hell, her 7-08 and 308 shoot sub 1" 5 shot groups.

    It's almost summer temps this morning here, 55*, coyotes are still singing away to the west of me. I got 4 the other day about 3 in the afternoon with my 22-250.

    Please give my CONGRATULATIONS to the new hunter! I like that she not only killed her deer but cleaned it as well. What caliber did she use? You have a hunting partner for the rest of your life. If you were here at my place you could be setting up to shoot coyotes right now, they're singing...

    What manual are you using? Also what primers and brass are you using that makes a difference too. Although without a chronograph all you're doing is guessing.

    Yup, a carb kit, float and new filter should take care of the problem. Did you put a new set of points, a condenser and check or replace the cap and rotor along with the new plugs? The 292 is great engine and it will be running and working for years if he takes care of it.
