    The average high for April 23 is 61 degrees in Bismarck so even that forecast is below average. I'd agree dean that it's pretty common for us to have snow on the ground in April but this really seems like an extended spell of cold weather; we really haven't had more than a couple good melting...

    They're a crazy bird but I don't think they'll be going far with highs below freezing. That sheet water will freeze quick.

    Was out yesterday and walleyes were doing the old staring contest. Put the camera down and they would come and look at the bait but rarely hit it. Tried different size lures, dead sticks, whole minnow, half minnow, didn't seem to make much difference. Other ideas?

    Plenty of good dogs out there; this is basically a ford/chevy debate. Depends on how you like to hunt - If you're exclusively upland or waterfowl, if you hunt no matter the weather/snow amounts that would likely change your preference. If you spend time with it and get it on birds a lot...

    Saying about 5" of snow fell in Bismarck this morning, with some areas closer to a foot. Was like shoveling wet concrete this afternoon after it had settled a bit. Sounds like another solid round of moisture is on its way for the weekend - possibly up to an inch of water in it.

    It was definitely April or later but no worries. I've used River City for minor things like water pumps, carb jobs, lower unit seals and haven't had any issues. Definitely not cheap but don't think any of them are.
