U.S. Marine Corps veteran and ex-U.S. Army reservist from Dickinson was sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison Monday after he previously pleaded guilty to a charge related to owning guns while using marijuana.
Gunnar Ebert pleaded guilty under an agreement in late May to one count of possession of firearms by a prohibited person, which carries up to 15 years in prison.
Members of the U.S. armed forces are prohibited from using marijuana. Federal law also prohibits anyone who uses drugs of any kind from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Well it's the law. When you buy a gun and fill out a 4473 it asks you if your a drug user. Is it OK to go hunting while drunk or go to a trap range and shoot while drunk?

So I can road hunt with a cooler of beer ( in my drinking days) no problem but heaven forbid a guy pulls over for some ditch weed. Never knew. Old law? Legal recreational mj in some states

Alcohol is water soluble. The body purges itself of alcohol at roughly one oz per hour; mostly though the lungs no matter point of ingestion.

THC is fat soluble and detectable for upwards of 70 days. Per the current work standard; if it's in your system: You're compromised.

If this "legal" shit would ever work; it'd have to be predicated on Fed Regs and challenged in court
