How much does it cost nowdays just to cut up a deer? Anyone that hunts should be capable of butchering thier own animal of course. Ive never taken a deer into a butcher other than meat trim to have sausage made, and Ive butchered over 100 of them in the garage. Some yrs ago the guy at Buffalo Gap in ND was charging $1,000 to skin and cut up an Elk for people.
