Has anyone seen any 270 WSM ammo on the shelf anywhere?

Scheels in town has a butt load of just about anything else but no 270 WSM.

And I don't reload.

I haven’t and have a feeling it’s a caliber that’s going to have little factory support in the future

On the rare occasion that I do find it, I buy it. Same thing for 44 magnum.

I was actually amazed at how much other ammo Scheels had on their shelves.

Pretty damn depressing isn't it. Less than a month from moose season and I can't even shoot my 375 because ammo is so scarce. Shit is getting old.

Vollmer's adverts too.

::thinking:: Maybe I will just buy a new rifle that I can find ammo for. :;:rockit

Any suggestions on caliber?

Any time I looked for plain old .270 ammo lately it was either not in stock or $80/box so not that one

.308 ammo is everywhere and probably the least inflated
270, 6.5 creed or 30-06 are probably the next widely available round
all the “new” fancy calibers are all $50-80 a box!
there is a couple Franchi momentum rifles at a local store down here for half off but of course they are both in 6.5 creed
