I have fished very few tournaments, but seems there is always a percentage of guys in the tourney that are pure asshats, makes a regular joe fisherman like myself not want to partake.

I am sure I am not talking about any NDA'rs, but always a few in the bunch, and the problem is that we as a group of nonasshats don't like it...haha

I'm still just an alternate for a friend and awaiting confirmation of whether or not I'm needed. Looking at the wind, I should bring my chiro table.

Going to be a grind of a tourney. Wind will substained at 32 and fishing in the upwards of 45 go 50. That shake things up a bit. Going to be a big boat day. Haha can't wait for Sunday.

Every time I have fished this spring its a big blow. I think I'm cursed.

I had heard talk that some of the big boats might make the 50 mile run all the way up into Van Hook.....I know that isn't going to happen if the wind blows like they are talking. Perfect conditions you are looking at an hour boat ride each way but if the wind blows it isn't feasible to fish much past Douglas. Good luck to all and stay safe if its blowing!

something special about fishing in a gale nothing like 3 ft waves and gusty winds. it is fun to leaving the bay at full throttle and hitting the first 3ft wave special times there. All I can tell you is make sure the seat is in good and your fishing rods are in a place you wont fall on them and break. good luck and be safe.

It's more like 60 miles each way, have ran it before its a haul.
