If they come out black, you know they've cooked too long.....
I knew when I left for work that morning that it was the day just by how my dog acted. Sure enough that afternoon it happenedwell i called the vet and he told me to go and get a thermometer and check her temp as they will decrease in temp when they are within 24 hours, and her temp was at 99 degrees, so i think today/tonight is go time!
I've only seen one dog here in the yard and it was the neighbor up the road's border collie/australian shepherd.you sure there is only one dad? a lot of white a lot of white on the paws, chin, chest and tail it looks like.
I built a nice box with heating pads in the bottom. works like a champ.wouldnt hurt to get them into a welping box
Here is the box I built. Had some scrap particle board sitting around already cut so threw it together in bout half an hour. The one side on the right is lower so that momma can get in and out easily. Has about a 2" lip to keep babies in. Under the blankets are two electric heat pads with thermostats. Works awesome.so will the lighter ones be yellow or chocolate?
she could care less. goes outside for fifteen minutes at a time to do her thing and play with our other dog.Can all these pups be handled right now or are the momma's a bit defensive?
