that's the best way I've ever heard it put
I heard it from someone else some time ago, although I don't remember where.

I'm gonna use it someday. My brother teaches (US history, government, minority studies) and thinks we don't need guns lol. I got a chuckle when he text me after the latest San Bernadino incident wondering what the hell a long gun was lolI heard it from someone else some time ago, although I don't remember where.

So I've been married to my wife knocking on 30 years now. Up until recently she had never shot a gun. Had no interest in them even though growing up on a farm. We moved to Williston in 2005 for her work. Things changed drastically here as your aware. Two or three years ago she says she thinks she wants a gun and wants to learn how to shoot it. So we bought a smith and wesson body guard revolver for her to keep in the night stand. She just liked the way it feels, she has small hands. So a few months later she signs up for this self defense gun shooting class given by a retired cop/military dude. She comes home thinking she's Charlie's Angels. So we then get our CCW permits. She now wants a concealed weapon. So I buy her a sig PC238. Yesterday we head for the range. The two of us, my two boys, one boys girlfriend and the granddaughter. Three generations at the range. My wife shot the shit out of that gun. You'd think she'd been shooting for years. Even shot the oldest boys AR. Hit target 90% of the time. I'm thinking, wtf, I need to get her a shotgun and start pheasant hunting, more birds to bring home lol. We decide to all meet for supper in town afterwards. We're discussing the upcoming obama bans and wondering what all they'll be. Get done eating and head for Sportsmans Loft so the oldest can buy another AR. Well needless to say my wife is encouraging me to buy another weapon and lots of ammo. I'm thinking wtf? So I can't decide if I want a ccw or an AR. I eventually decide on the AR. Bring it home, we open it up and feel it and oooh and aaah and watch TV. Get up this morning and we are sitting having coffee. She says, "I think you better go in and buy that 9mm too, it'll be your birthday present". I looked at her and said "what the hell did you do with my wife".
I shaved her mustache lol
what's the problem with paperwork? Now you need to start looking at 80% lowers and building your own ar-15 and ar-10. No paperwork.
hmm. didn't think any of them got on the record. I don't recall them giving any info to anyone about what guns I bought. I could be wrong just don't recall that.No problem I have filed out plenty of background checks in my day. It I just nice to have one or ten guns not on the record.
I hope you paid cash, that alone might be enough to get you on a 'watch list'...Ok so the range was fun again. Momma drug me back to town and bought 2850 rounds of ammo today. I think we may be having an intervention rather soon. But not till after I get the new 9mm tomorrow lol
If you listen when they call in the background checks they specify whether it is a handgun or a longgun and you can bet your sweet patootie its going in some data bank that you bought that gun.
I think NICS is preposterous.
