Good eye. I had to zoom way in to spot the pointed crest on my phone.
If you look at the feeder in the background there are a bunch of Gold Finches also

I get no less than 40 videos everyday. I could post all kinds of videos of different birds coming in.

Update on the Martins , one pair stuck around and nesting and the rest are gone. I happened to notice a lone scout today , pumping hard in the wind and flying low , kept flying north.

Back in the day; I used to sit in trees naked with a bottle of wine and play the flute to attract scarlet tanagers.

The Martins turned out ok , it's almost like they came early to claim thier homestead . Yesterday there were a bunch flying above the canola field most of the day.

Orioles and hummers showed up in big numbers and were hungry during the snow storm yesterday. went through a big jar of jelly in 2 days. It really blew hard out in the open with 6-8 '' heavy snow. No idea where the Martins took off to but they left and there were sparrows on the houses but the Martins came back this afternoon. They must head for the heavy timber and hunker down.

You Birders might want to be careful and not start another pandemic.

Two MV Hondius passengers who died from hantavirus likely contracted the deadline infection while bird-watching in Argentina, investigators believe – then brought it on board the now-stranded cruise ship.

Argentine officials say a Dutch couple that succumbed to the virus last month picked it up from rodents while visiting a landfill during a bird-watching tour in the city of Ushuaia in mid-March, they told the Associated Press Wednesday.
