Current EPA wants to take us back to those "Good Old Days".
I for one am not fond of that prospect.

Orcus they have some good points and some bad points. Unfortunately the left weaponized them.

I would like to see better conservation of our resources, but people who put animals ahead of people will damage it further along with our economy looking for answers to questions that are unrealistic.
Also If I did agree with the EPA agenda I cant vote for the baby killing left. Nor can I vote for a party that supports parasites over citizens. I could fill pages with the corruption in our politics. Both sides are greedy, but the left is evil.

What would you all be saying if a Democratic administration used the ATF against gun owners the way the trump administration is using ICE? What if the ATF were going into homes or detaining anyone that looked like they might be a gun owner and figuring out whether they were all legal after the fact? If they were using AI to find your social media posts and using those to deny your gun/suppressor purchase?

This whole ATF thing started under your buddy barry. They used to only hold your info you fill out when you buy a gun for a set period of time and then they were destroyed. Under his administration they started holding the info forever to do with what they wish. I don't like it when either side does it but at least I'm not selectively outraged.

Would that be like the people @ the FBI who illegally spied on Patel and Wilde? Wray didn’t do that. Right off, at least 10 “rank and file” fibbers got the axe today w/likely more to come. Sounds mighty “Deep Statey” to me.

PLEASE if you decide to respond, do so with something more thoughtful and poignant than:

“They were just following orders”.

That line ceased to be relevant or acceptable as an answer 80-some years ago in Nuremberg.
Funny how Trumps staff still uses it.
The ten you are referring to worked on Trumps documents case??

Typical for this administration, hide any incriminating information.
Smith testified to congress. He had a rock solid case. Being a former president was the only reason Trump was not perp walked in his jammies at gunpoint like others who took classified information.
As to the Nuremberg Trials. I can't wait to see Trumps lackeys turn on each other when their justice comes due. I can not prognosticate but I can be hopeful.

Or, the reason T wasn’t perp-walked @ gunpoint could be because POTUS can de-classify anything he or she wants.

A VP cannot declassify docs at will like POTUS can. Nor are cardboard boxes in a garage nearly a secure enough spot for classified information.

You can knee jerk and cry encroachment on gun rights. Facts are gun rights have expanded since the 1960's.
To this end, I do recall an Atty General under a Dem president being 100% OK w/straw-purchasing of firearms knowing that those firearms would most likely end up in the hands of Mexican cartel members.

I’m more than happy to forego that manner of firearms rights expansion.

Trump‘s documents were taken while he was president and had a legal right to have them. Biden‘s documents were taken when he was Senator and had no legal right to have them, refresh my memory and post the video where Biden was perp walked in his jammies At gun point. Hillary Clinton had classified documents on her private server which was illegal. Show the video where she was Perk walk in her jammies at gun point

But that is not what he did. The president can't just say and make it so. There is a process for a reason.

This is correct. The document is not declassified until it goes through the process. Intending to declassify it doesn't count.

I am completely disappointed in all those who carelessly handled and stored classified material. Rotten bastages get away with it because of the class they are in, not because they didn't break the law.

Remember the brown folders that had "classified" in bold red letters emblazened on them that the FBI spread out on the floor in the picture so that dolts like us would hopefully become outraged that weren't actually classified? Those ones.

If they were truly declassified, can you point me towards a link where I can read them?

Look, the judge basically said Trump was getting special treatment because he was the president. To my knowledge, they have never publicly released these "declassified" documents to the public. I am quite sure there were a lot of reporters trying to score a scoop on these papers, but the fact remains the material was classified and remains so. I am pretty sure many reporters have tried to FOIA request these documents.

Good grief, Trump's attorneys had to get security clearances in order to review the documents.

Here's a list of the documents he illegally retained: https://www.newsnationnow.com/trump-investigation/secret-documents-donald-trump/

They weren't classified or declassified. I'm talking about the pretend files they layed out on the floor for the photo op to let us know that they really got trump this time.

So, in other words...you don't care about the fact that he did indeed have classified material stored at Mar-a-Lago?

I don't care about whatever pic you are referencing, I only care about the fact he did have classified material stored in bathrooms and ballrooms. The list of the classified material he had stored there is in the link above.
