Attention Veterans: Alaska Fishing Trip

I wanted to inform all of our Veterans on this site about an opportunity with a foundation where I am on the board. This foundation does mean a lot to me. Brady was my best friend and hunting partner.

The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation will be sending four combat veterans on an all expense paid fishing trip to Sitka, Alaska. They will enjoy three days of fishing with Angling Unlimited, great food, beautiful scenery, and excellent hospitality. All interested veterans should apply!

The application can be found at bradyoberglegacyfoundation.com and look under the Alaska Trip. While you are there you can also look at applying for our Labor Day event. This was our first event held last year in MN near Detroit Lakes. The group of veterans had a private cabin for 3 days on a private lake, we held a pheasant hunt at McCullums Hunting Preserve and another lake day on Big Detroit with pontoons, jet skis, etc.

I had the opportunity to fish with Angling Unlimited in 2011. It was a BLAST! Very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly service.

Having lived in Sitka and Visit frequently, AU is one of the best. Chuck MacNamee owns one of the best charters in Sitka. Anyone going will have a great time with great people. For the Veterans, Thank You for your service.
