I got a used ATV this spring (2005 Yamaha Kodiak) and am thinking I probably want a windshield for it for pushing snow and ice fishing. Any recommendations?

Also, do you have to take them off when trailering or do they hold up pretty good to going 75 down the interstate?

Never had a windshield on my atv's so no help. I do see a lot of them on trailers with windshields still attached to the machine. I don't think trailering them would be a problem.

I cratered my Honda Pioneer (UTV) windshield last summer whilst pulling it at something near the speed limit on the interstate. Those Plexiglas things can certainly crater when it's hot with about a 90'ish mph wind.

Windshields on trailered ATVs don't stay clear for long. I had a quick release windshield on my atv (20 min of mounting hardware initially, then 30 sec of wing nuts). The windshield was wrapped in an old blanket and laid on top of everything in the pickup box. I have a topper.
