How many of you track the barometer when you go fishing and at what pressure levels do you find best fishing?

What Cap said. On top of that, for me, if the pressure is High, I tend to search deeper. If the pressure is low, I may give the shallower stuff a try.

Like capt. said steady to falling before a front. now if the baro is 31.5 or higher that can suck also. but different fish bite at different levels walleye are the worst for the barometric p other fish not so much. one thing that sucks for me on the lake is a big lighting storm fishing after the storm fishing is off. It doesn't matter to me, I will go when I get a chance.

I agree right when the pressure starts dropping, but I usually don't have that luxury so I pick a day to go and hope the pressure is good!

I go when I can but 29.90- 30.90 IMHO is best with rapidly falling barometer seems to trigger fish.

Recent change to high pressure with bluebird skies and an East wind can make fishing very tough summer and winter.
