scheels rods - 6 or 6.5' presidents and up to limited guide... pflueger bait casters with 6 to 12# spiderwire stealth - 1 oz per 10' - home made spinner and slow death rigs on 12 to 17# chloro depending on where i'm at...

my favorite is a 6' medium fast president with a higher end phlueger - everything wore off and can't remember what model... have fished that combo for 15 years and boated thousands of eyes - guessing over 300 over 25" from all the trips up north to tobin and last mtn... gonna cry when something happens to that set up...

I have a old berkley spirit graph. 6.6 rod and bait caster with 10 mono, make the spinners with 8 pound mono, pull 1.5 to 2 oz bb puts fish in the livewell also have a bait caster loaded with 20lb fireline. I have found out that sometimes the mono catches more fish then the fireline.. go figger?
