Jiffy is just lamenting the fact they go new that price at cabelas... Black is low level pricing while OP didn't distinguish which of 2 patterns the one for sale is or black.

I checked sb3 website shows sb3 only available in black no optifade or marsh camo. Oh well,color doesn't kill birds.

Last shotgun I purchased new from a gun shop long guns were not required to be registered and no permit required to purchase. This has changed?

Well I bought a shotgun in December and I had to go thru the whole process when I bought it . I really do wonder how many hundreds of millions of firearms there really are that are not registered . I think the number would be truly shocking

I know a couple guys that have never bought a brand new firearm and never will because they think that way the government won’t know they have guns… But all the government needs to do is cross reference the hunting licenses…

Not sure I understand this. I do not think you have to own a gun to purchase a hunting license.
