Big Buddy Heater troubleshoot

I have a few friends that run the diesel heater and they love them. I bought the Heat Hog a couple years ago and have not used my buddy heater since.

Just curious. What are the big differences between the Heat Hog and Big Buddy? Looks like Btu's are the same?

Heat Hog has a curved plate to distribute heat better, it tilts so you can point it upwards, the grate is more heavy duty, the internal parts are easier to get to. I also found that it takes less care than the buddy. Every fall when I pulled the buddy out of storage, I had had to clean the flame port so it would work. I have not had to do this with the Heat Hog.

Sounds like some good features. What's weird is that I abuse my Big Buddy, never clean it, haven't changed any components, probably using the wrong hose to my 20# cylinder, and the thing just runs like a champ. I've had it for 6 years or more.
