After tough luck of taking out my lower unit last year and a few other problems, my good buddies and I were able to win it this year! Couldn't be more excited! We had an insane day prefishing Friday, including a big spawned out 32 1/4", and as luck would have it we had an even better day Saturday! We were just a ways south using live bait. Thanks again for everyone that helped out and put on the tournament and to everyone who came and fished!

Doesn't the Tribune cover this tournament at all? You would think the media would do more to promote the fishing in Bismarck.

It would be nice to see the smiles on your faces holding that nice batch of fish.

I watched the first two flights take off. Pretty cool to see some of the rigs people have out there. Even cooler to see some tillers and older boats going against the big sparkly boats. Congrats on the win and how are you going to spend the money!

Ha. Price to pay to get to go fishing on the weekends I guess. All my reffing money went to home improvement materials so when it came time to get my coaching check, I put dibs on using it how I wanted to use it. She actually went along with it.

Those were a couple of our prefish from friday. I think the only pics we got of our tourney fish were of my two partners on stage after the weigh in.
