CAD program for yard design.

Does anyone know of a free user friendly cad program out there for landscaping design ? I'm looking for something I can save and update when I plant new trees and garden. Since I started using the one on Menard's website I haven't needed one so the old ones went away. The Menards program won't do what I want it to for this project.

No experience with any of them, but thought it was an interesting question. One that I have asked of myself a few times with all the plantings I have around the place.

My contractor lied when they said they could do 3D of my remodel - so mid-way I had to buy Home Designer Architectural and do it myself

glad I did though - it was crucial to figuring out what was/wasn't going to work/fit - I found several "oopsies" they made that would have been hell to remedy

great software - and it has some landscaping tools too which I will use next summer

Went for the low T upgrade instead. (chef style exhaust hood over the cooktop for when we burn stuff)

You could just use google earth and tag the different bushes you plant etc... Resolution is good enough now to see individual trees and bushes from space. Not sure if that would meet your needs or not

Great room - no walls between dining/kitchen/living.
