It would be too bad if the choice is made to remove the politics section as there are indeed politics that directly impact the outdoors that are important. The format you have where you have to purposely go to the political section to discuss politics should remove anyone that does not wish to have political discussions interfering with their outdoors discussions from worrying about that.

The political topics often generate a lot of views which in turn drives advertisers decisions to invest their dollars in a site.

eye, can always take a bit of good natured ribbing, often times agree with a bit of it.

Well said, gst. It will remain on the site. Definitely needed conversations there. I just dont want it to be a primary focus. The hunting/fishing topics will always reign king here.

I'll give it the old college try. Might even try leaving the emoticons alone. But I do wish there was a sarcasm button. Sarcasm is allowed on here I hope?

I respect most everybody till they give me reason not to. I like spirited discussions that focus on fact rather than personal crap. I like to learn stuff and factual information allows that.
